During the previous eighteen months Covid-19 has had a considerable effect upon both the use of the clubhouse and the golf competitions. However, it now appears that we are slowly getting back to normal. The other change is that Graham Brogan has finally retired and the management of the seniors has passed to Ken Twist(secretary) and Robin Clarke who is the Treasurer for the club and the seniors. Ken Sessford has organised two outings and another is on the cards for Alderslay Green in September. An Annual General Meeting is to be arranged for October as now the seniors has no subscription income there is a need to discuss future expenditure.
Ken is checking with Shirley regarding our Christmas Dinner. and there is a provisional date of the 7th The seniors trophies will be presented to the winners at the Club’s Presentation Night November as usual. I believe the Club has recently agreed not to provide replicas stating that the trophy winners will have their name engraved on the trophy and on the honour board.
The seniors bank account at the HSBC ha been closed and the balance transferred to the club account at Lloyds Bank.When the monthly income and expenditure account is presented to the committee there will be a column showing the seniors balance in the account.
